VideoBoss – Andy Jenkins

videoboss$2,000 bucks is a lot of money to spend unless you are buying a car. Now consider that you are buying something that you can’t physically touch and it seems even worse.

I first landed on the VideoBoss e-mail list through the Product Launch Formula via Jeff Walker. I had recently spent $2,000 on that course but I was now looking for a way of creating content for a product launch!

I watched the free videos offered via Andy Jenkins squeeze page process and I was hooked. I simply HAD to have it. I knew that video marketing was huge and getting huger (I made that word up). The issue is:

  • How to create cool videos
  • How to script them
  • What to make videos about
  • How to integrate them into your sales process
  • How to add value using video
  • How to do video marketing (YouTube etc)
  • What software and hardware to use

And the VideoBoss is the answer to this issue. I know it isn’t cheap, in fact, unless you are the sort of person who spends money and does nothing with the content then anything is going to be a waste for you. I personally take action on what I read or watch. Even cheap e-books have been integrated into my learning repository.

A couple of points here:

  • Andy Jenkins knows his stuff
  • He is one of the good guys
  • He overdelivers massively

I was expecting video training but this course goes way, way beyond that. Andy digs into the guts of marketing psychology and how to integrate it into your website and scripts. You get a few methods here. You learn how to plan and execute an effective video marketing campaign as well as create cool video products people will want to buy.

There is a Camtasia training course as well as lots of other software and tools you will need to use for your projects. Full audio training is included but even better, Andy tells you how he got you to buy the course in the ‘look over my shoulder’ sections.

This is simply the best money I’ve ever spent on the web (and I’ve spent a lot). I’d put the true value at around $5,000 in terms of what it teaches you which is how to easily plan, script and create video based products and put them to market. If you could plug this information into website creation (WordPress) and some online marketing know-how then you will make your money back many times over.

I’ve bought some of his other stuff now and I can see that he is a student of web marketing himself. My only slight criticism is that Andy is part of the inner circle of web gurus, some of whom I don’t particularly like so I often get sales e-mails from Andy promoting ‘his great friend X or Y.’ But I can live with that.

The VideoBoss is closed most of the time. I think you could possibly get it as an upsell for one of his other products for sale via his website – www.andyjenkinsblog.com.

Have fun.
